Henry E. Peavler – Living Springs Publishers

Henry (Hank) Peavler is an Author, Newspaper Publisher, Professional Fund Raiser, Real Estate Developer, and an avid golfer. He was born in Springfield, Missouri and raised on the plains of eastern Colorado. In 1973 Henry moved to Austin, Texas, where he raised his five children. Henry has a BA (69) and an MA (74) from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is an avid student of history, with a special interest in the Victorian era. Henry has published several books that can be viewed on this website: The first, ‘What Is a Hero’ is a fictional autobiography dedicated to his mother. He is currently working on a four-book series on the struggles of abolitionists fighting to make Kansas a Free State in the years before the Civil War. The first three books are now available: ‘Sam Wood, Floods of Ungodly Men’; ‘Sam Wood, The Wakarusa War’, and ‘Sam Wood, The Civil War’. His book of short stories entitled, ‘Six Incredibly Interesting Stories, was released in September 2023.

Hank currently resides in Mazatlán, Mexico where he publishes an English language newspaper, ‘The Pacific Pearl’ which can be found online at mazatlanspacificpearl.com.
